Potomac Soccer Association is delighted to announce that Andrew Banadda will be taking on the new role of PSA Development Phase Director of Coaching (U11-U14) effective July 1st, 2020.

Andrew has been coaching in the Maryland, D.C. and Virginia area for 10 years and with Potomac Soccer since 2018. Andrew holds a C License & USC Premier Diploma and has coached extensively with Maryland State Youth Soccer Association ODP programs and collegiately at Washington Adventist University. Andrew’s playing career began with club soccer under Emile Mbouh in the Maryland, D.C. and Virginia area and high school soccer at Bullis High School.

One notable high school teammate is former Potomac player Rodney Wallace of the Costa Rican National team and MLS. After his youth career, Andrew played collegiately at Middlebury College, where he won a NESCAC and NCAA DIII National Championship in 2007. He was named to All-tournament after his play in the NCAA DIII Final-Four games in 2007. Andrew also is a member of Arrington Training & Development as a director, alongside CEO Matt Arrington, and is the ATD U23 summer team coach. With the organization, Andrew has worked with professional players such as Andi Sullivan of Washington Spirit, Peabo Doue of Loudoun United, and Hugh Roberts of Charlotte Independence.

Potomac Soccer Executive Director, Laurie Lane, adds, “Andrew’s dedication to the game and demand for excellence at all levels of soccer is the right fit for Potomac Soccer. We are very honored to have Andrew join our staff, and we look to him to continue to move the club  forward in the very competitive environment of youth soccer.”
“I look forward to creating a culture of success and leaving a legacy in my new role. I love the team-building and player development processes. It is what drives me to be better every day. This position offers a great opportunity, and I am excited to work with the Potomac leadership and coaches to help the club move forward and provide a wonderful soccer experience to our members,” said
