The Best Youth Soccer Club in Montgomery County, MD
The Potomac Soccer Association (PSA) of Montgomery County was founded in 1980 by Bill Wilson of Potomac, Maryland.
Formally incorporated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit, charitable organization in 1982, the fundamental mission of PSA has remained the same as it is today: to promote soccer for area youth.
At Potomac Soccer Association we believe in creating a soccer club based on a club-centric model, which means all of our teams are given the same opportunities and do not run independently of each other while they all are fully supported by the office and the coaching staff.
Our Soccer Programs
Our youth soccer programs are tailored to fit every age group and skill level. From competitive soccer travel teams playing in leagues like EDP, NCSL, CCL Championship and others, to camps and clinics, after school programs and Player Development League, we provide our Montgomery county youth community the best youth soccer club experience in the area.

PSA Futures Program
Boys and Girls - U7/U8 Soccer
Do you have a child that demonstrates significant potential? PSA Futures is for those looking for a patient and structured environment to foster their child’s talent and love for the game.
The U7/U8 PSA Futures was launched in 2010 to give boys and girls between 5 to 8 years old the opportunity to compete in a premier team environment under the tutelage of the Potomac Soccer Association staff. Training runs for 10 months each year with practices twice-a-week and weekend games in both the fall and the spring.
This program is for little girls who have got big hearts for teamwork. Here your future player will learn the basic principles of soccer while creating bonds that will shape their love of the game. It’s never too early to learn confidence and strength.
Players at the U7/U8 age group are like sponges and they learn new skills very quickly.
With this in mind, we are very inclusive as we want to provide an opportunity for the player to develop. The main criteria are the basic physical ability, agility, balance, coordination, and enthusiasm to play.
This program is for boys who love to get outside and get active. This is an opportunity for your future player to learn the basic principles of soccer while safely engaging with others. Here he will learn the importance of teamwork and discipline while gaining fun and new experiences.

To provide an environment for youth players to play and love the game within an educational structure. We want our players to learn the game and to be part of a system that provides them with great experiences and memories that will help shape their future in a positive way.
Through the use of our year round curriculum and our holistic approach to player development, we strive to develop our players for the next levels of the game. Our Club-centric model allows players to grow and improve within a program that is constant and has a single style from one year to the next. Coaches teach the same style of play throughout the club, and utilize different formations (e.g. 1-4-3-3) to challenge players cognitive abilities and to prepare them for all opponents.

Our coaches are licensed and well versed in coaching kids and young players. They are not only amazing soccer coaches but also role models for our soccer players.
