Emily Janss

Bio

Emily Janss has been in administrative roles for the past 4 years with Washington Capital United, Barca Academy Nova, and recently TSJFCV. Emily brings a wealth of knowledge of the youth, collegiate, and professional soccer landscapes in the United States as a player, coach, and leader.

Emily has a tremendous track record of developing players as a coach and club director. She served as a D1 Assistant Coach at the University of Arkansas, the University of Maryland, Loyola University, and George Mason University. She was also the Head Coach of the Maryland Olympic Development Program and worked as a youth director for Bethesda Soccer Club and the girls director at OBGC. Emily holds the USSF National ‘A’ and youth coaching licenses.

Emily enjoyed a prolific playing career. In college, she was a four-year starter at the University of Maryland and was a 3-time regional All-American. She played professionally for the New York Power, the Washington Freedom, and Fortuna Hjorring in Denmark. During her professional career, Emily won the W-League Championship and was twice selected to the W-League Championship All-Tournament team.
